According to official news, Lightning Labs has released Taproot Assets v0.8 and its accompanying SDK. The new SDK supports developers in quickly integrating stablecoin functionality on the Bitcoin network, adding features such as backup and recovery, multi-asset liquidity control, and faster proof verification, aimed at improving infrastructure efficiency. Lightning Labs stated that the future of multi-asset Bitcoin has arrived and encourages developers to start building.
